Gumnut
Camp

Moyston - Victoria - AUSTRALIA
Group Accommondation - Recreation - Environmental Education

Gumnut Holiday Camp is surrounded on three sides by the Grampians National Park and situated at the base of Mt. William with it's breathtaking views. There is an abundance of native wildlife living within the 200-acre property setting. Wallabies and kangaroos graze through the open recreation areas, as well as the many other native birds and wildlife which call `Gumnut' home. A night spotlight stroll along the well established walking trails will reveal the many species of possums, owls and other nocturnal creatures which feed and live in harmony on the property.

As one would expect, a large proportion of the property boasts stands of native growth trees and natural spring wildflowers. Mt. William Creek runs through the property.

Dormitory style accommodation provides for up to 52 people and a limited number of non-powered tent sites, with bookings essential.

There is a fully equipped kitchen with a spacious dining and recreational area. Combining nature and one of the best multi-breed farms (cows, pigs, chickens, etc.) in the Grampians Region provides a truly unforgettable city-meets-country experience.

Within easy reach of Halls Gap and the surrounding districts are many major tourist attractions including Lake Bellfield, Lake Fyans (both excellent for canoeing), Brambuk Aboriginal Culture Centre, Seppelts historic Great Western Winery, Ararat's J-Ward, Mafeking and Stawell gold mines and many other places of interest.
